Community Realty Management (CRM), a full-service real estate management organization specializing in the management and compliance of affordable housing properties, recently added two new employees to its team. Laurie Rivera has been named Director of Occupancy and Compliance and Janel Burke has been named an Executive Property Manager.
Laurie Rivera has worked in the housing industry since 2009, managing properties in New York and the Philadelphia region. In her new role, Laurie is responsible for all compliance functions and related activity at a number of CRM’s sites located across six states and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Laurie is experienced and knowledgeable in the complexities of affordable housing including HUD, LIHTC and Rural Development. Laurie will be based out of CRM’s headquarters office in Pleasantville, NJ.
Janel Burke received her Bachelor’s Degree from Mercyhurst University and soon after began her professional career in real estate management. Presently, Janel’s management portfolio consists of three CRM properties in Buffalo, NY, and three properties located in the Midwestern states of Indiana, Missouri and Oklahoma. As an Executive Property Manager, Janel is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the operations, staff, and service of these properties. Janel will be operating out of Buffalo, NY, where she currently resides.
