Japan raised taxes on popular small trucks, NY Times reports

In April, Japan's government sharply raised taxes on popular small tracks known as keis, according to The New York Times. Industry and government officials worry that the vehicles have "become a distraction" for Japanese automakers, the newspaper stated. Japanese automakers include Toyota (TM), Honda (HMC), and Nissan (NSANY).
