CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Apr 7, 2014) - Jellyvision, an interactive marketing company and creator of ALEX®, the virtual employee benefits counselor, is one of Chicago's best places to work, according to the Crain's Chicago Business annual listing of Chicago workplaces. Jellyvision was recognized as the number one "Best for Millennials" company on the 2014 Best Places to Work list, which ranked Chicago-area organizations based on benefits, career development, culture and the overall likelihood that you'd answer the question, "How was your day at work?" with an enthusiastic thumbs-up and a jazzy two-step.
Companies were selected for the list based on the results of two surveys developed by Buck Consultants, a global human resources consulting firm. One survey was directed at employers, and the other was sent to 31,000 employees in the Chicago area. Jellyvision perks and benefits that may or may not have contributed to the company's recognition on the list include fun, meaningful work; free yoga; volunteering opportunities; company events such as foosball tournaments and competitive dip-making festivals; and America's favorite massage chair, Massage Chair.
Over the pleasant din of employees feeling fulfilled and enjoying their work, Harry Gottlieb, founder of Jellyvision, said: "We're thrilled to be included on the list. One of our goals is to be a place worthy of people's precious hours on Earth, and I think this shows we're achieving that. And that people really enjoyed Taco Day."
Mary Beth Wynn, director of talent, chimed in: "We care a great deal about hiring smart, friendly, hard-working people, and we believe that they are what truly makes Jellyvision a great place to work, so it's an honor to have our incredible people recognized by Crain's."
Other smart, friendly, hard-working people who would enjoy working at a great -- nay, best -- place are encouraged to check out Jellyvision's current career opportunities.
Jellyvision helps companies explain their important (but maybe kind of complex) messages in a delightful way. We create virtual salespeople, brokers, guidance counselors, HR reps and teachers, who have fun, personalized conversations with your customers and employees and help them understand confusing or snooze-inducing topics.
