Kazakh president appoints minister Kelimbetov to head central bank

ALMATY, Oct 1 (Reuters) - Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has sacked central bank head Grigory Marchenko, replacing him with Deputy Prime Minister Kairat Kelimbetov, the presidential press service said on Tuesday.

Central bank policy would remain unchanged, the service quoted Nazarbayev as saying.
