CLEVELAND, OH--(Marketwire - Mar 19, 2013) - The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland announces the arrival of its new general manager, Ms. Kelly Steward. Ms. Steward brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience to her role, with 12 of those years spent with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. In her new position, Ms. Steward will manage all operations for the luxury Cleveland hotel.

Ms. Steward joined The Ritz-Carlton family in 2001, as Guest Services Manager for The Ritz-Carlton, Naples in Florida. While with the legendary Naples resort, Ms. Steward also held the positions of Front of House Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples Golf Resort. She then moved to The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis as Executive Assistant Manager, Rooms Division, a position she also held at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas. Ms. Steward was then promoted to Director of Operations at The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte, a LEED Gold certified hotel. Most recently, Ms. Steward served as Hotel Manager for The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles -- the heart of the thriving L.A. LIVE entertainment complex.

During her tenure with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Ms. Steward has been recognized as a Master Analyst and was nominated in 2005 for the J. Willard Marriott Award of Excellence. Ms. Steward is also certified as a Leadership Center Speaking Ambassador and has served as an opening trainer for 15 Ritz-Carlton properties.

Ms. Steward holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hotel Management from The Ohio State University and is looking forward to being an active member of the community.
