Khalkos Exploration Inc.: Change in Financial Year End

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 16, 2012) - KHALKOS EXPLORATION INC. ("Khalkos")(TSX VENTURE:KAS.V - News) announces the change of its Financial Year End from June 30 to February 28. This step is being taken to allow the Corporation's personnel to adequately meet the filing deadlines given that such personnel is also involved with another public company.

The Board of Directors of the Corporation approved the change of year end on January 25, 2012. The Corporation has requested and is awaiting the approval of the change of year end from the Canada Revenue Agency.

Khalkos will have a transitional year with an 8-month period ended February 28, 2012.
