Kimco Realty announced the acquisition of Wilton Campus Shops, a 97,000-square-foot grocery-anchored retail center in Wilton, Conn., that is part of a larger mixed-use complex known as Wilton River Park. This acquisition marks the addition of another high-quality property in a core market to Kimco's U.S. shopping center portfolio. Kimco purchased Wilton Campus Shops from a partnership of Kleban Properties in Westport, Conn., for $39.7M, including $20.9M of mortgage debt. The shopping center is 98% occupied and is anchored by a 47,000-square-foot Stop & Shop, the dominant supermarket serving the community.
