PHOENIX (AP) -- Trucking operator Knight Transportation Inc. said Monday that it has named Adam Miller as chief financial officer.
Miller replaces David Jackson, who was named Knight's president last year. Knight said Monday that Miller's appointment will allow Jackson to "concentrate on our growth initiatives."
Miller recently served as the company's senior vice president of accounting and finance, secretary and treasurer.
Separately, Knight declared a regular quarterly dividend of 6 cents. It plans to pay the dividend on June 29 to shareholders of record as of June 1.
Knight's shares rose 25 cents to close at $16.46 on Monday.
