Kohl’s Corporation (KSS) has partnered with famous U.S. designer Narciso Rodriguez for the company’s new concept collection named DesigNation. The collection from DesigNation will feature exclusive fashion from different premier designers inspired from various international destinations.
Kohl’s will launch the DesigNation collection for a limited period, with a different designer for every new collection launched.
The Narciso Rodriguez collection will be available from early-November through December 2012, exclusively at Kohl’s stores and the company’s online site Kohls.com. Inspired by a recent trip to Istanbul, Rodriguez will design apparels especially for women. The collection will include outerwear, dresses, skirts, pants and shirts especially for women with retail prices ranging from $30 to $150.
In 2011, Kohl’s launched several exclusive lines from high-profile designers including Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Rock & Republic and Van Heusen targeting sportswear, dresses and other apparels. Kohl’s also launched the ELLE brand focusing on fashion jewelry and beauty and Simply Vera Vera Wang brand cosmetics. The DesigNation collection is also expected to offer customers with more fashion options and drive top-line growth for the company going forward.
Kohl’s operates 1,134 stores in 49 states, and has a strong brand portfolio, which offers moderately priced, exclusive and national brand apparel, shoes, accessories, beauty and home products to consumers.
