BP (BP): An investor sold 10,000 January 33 puts for $1.57 and bought 10,000 January 42 calls for $1.72. The trade cost $0.15 and will profit from a rebound into early next year. BP fell 0.03 percent to $39.01. (See related story )
Facebook (FB): Some 27,000 January 20 puts were bought, mostly for $1.60, looking for downside in the share price. Volume is more than 10 times open interest in the strike. FB rose 0.84 percent to $27.63. (See related story )
Yahoo (YHOO): Some 15,000 July 15 puts were bought for $1.02. The contracts are in the money, and will profit from downside in the stock over the next month. YHOO fell 0.78 percent to $15.35.
Oracle (ORCL): More than 5,000 June 28 puts were bought, mostly for $0.95, but volume is below open interest in the strike. ORCL rose 1.07 percent to $27.32.
