Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Yahoo (YHOO): More than 11,000 October 17 calls were purchased for $0.66 as investors look for the stock to push higher. YHOO rose 0.20 percent to $15.38.
Pfizer (PFE): More than 7,000 weekly June 22 puts, expiring next Friday, were purchased for $0.17 to $0.19, as investors seek protection on the pharmaceutical stock. PFE rose 0.72 percent to $22.30.
Kinder Morgan (KMI): Activity surged in the June 40 calls and June 40 puts, but volume was below open interest in both. It appears that the puts were sold and the calls were bought after a successful bearish trade was closed. KMI rose 0.40 percent to $32.24.
