Iamgold (IAG): An investor purchased 25,000 January 2014 30 calls for $0.95 while selling a large block of shares. That makes them directionally neutral on the stock, and positions them to benefit from volatility increasing. IAG fell 0.63 percent to $15.69.
PowerShares DB U.S. Dollar Index (UUP): Investors purchased about 33,000 October 22 calls for $0.11 to $0.14, looking for the U.S. greenback to strengthen. UUP fell 0.01 percent to $21.64.
Bank of America (BAC): More than 6,000 January 7.50 puts were bought for $0.21 but volume was far below open interest at the strike. BAC rose 1.78 percent to $9.38.
