Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

EMC (EMC): Some 15,000 January 2014 calls were bought for $8.25. More than 35,000 January 2014 calls also traded for $4.95. Those contracts will profit from long-term gains in the share price. EMC fell 1.12 percent to $26.59.

Microsoft (MSFT): About 10,000 September 28 puts were bought for $0.08 as investors look for downside in the tech giant. MSFT fell 1.04 percent to $30.33.

Intel (INTC): More than 19,000 weekly 24 puts expiring tomorrow were purchased for $0.04 to $0.07. Volume was below open interest, so the investor could be closing a previous short position in the contracts. INTC declined 1.37 percent to $24.33.
