Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Micron Technology (MU): Some 17,000 weekly 9.50 calls expiring this Friday were bought, for $0.12 to $0.18, against open interest of 1,494 contracts as investors position for a rally in the near term. MU rose 1.45 percent to $9.45.
Regions Financial (RF): Some 5,900 May 8 calls traded, most of which priced for $0.19, as investors look for upside in the Alabama lender. RF rose 3.62 percent to $8.01.
Bank of America (BAC): More than 20,000 January 7 puts were bought for $0.08 but volume was well below open interest at the strike. BAC rose 3.41 percent to $12.12.
