Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Micron Technology (MU): A block of 20,000 January 10 calls was bought for $1.22 as investors position for continued upside in the semiconductor stock. MU fell 1.18 percent to $9.24.
Oracle (ORCL): An investor sold about 11,000 June 35 calls for $0.29 and bought an equal number of June 29 puts for $0.29, bracing for downside in the software giant. ORCL fell 0.28 percent to $32.28.
General Motors (GM): Some 12,500 June 30 calls were bought, mostly for $0.91 to $0.94, but volume was far below open interest at the strike. GM fell 0.07 percent to $29.13.
Microsoft (:MSFT): Some 10,600 January 25 puts were bought for $0.55 to $0.60 but volume was below open interest at the strike. MSFT rose 3.54 percent to $30.82.
