Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Huntsman (HUN): A block of 26,400 May 19 calls was sold for $0.75 and rolled to the June 19s for $1.10. The trade cost $0.35 and provides the investor with an additional month of upside exposure to the chemical company. HUN fell 2.43 percent to $18.15.
Hewlett-Packard (HPQ): An investor bought 8,500 June 22 calls for $0.51 and sold a matching number of June 18 puts for $0.46. The resulting position is highly leveraged to the computer stock, making money to the upside and losing to the downside. HPQ fell 0.95 percent to $20.16.
Qualcomm (QCOM): Some 8,600 May 62.50 calls were purchased, mostly for $1.05, but volume was below open interest at the strike. QCOM rose 0.66 percent to $61.93.
