Nearing
the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity
names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker
data system.
Talisman Energy (TLM): A block of 20,000 July 14
calls was bought for $0.65 and the same number of July 11 puts was sold
for $0.60. The resulting position is similar to owning shares in the oil
company, making money to the upside and losing to the downside. TLM
fell 1.44 percent to $12.36.
Facebook (FB): A block of 8,000 May
25 puts were bought for $1.23 as an investor positions for downside in
the social-networking stock. FB fell 0.88 percent to $27.01.
Theravance
(THRX): About 5,200 March 15 puts were bought for $0.60 as traders
brace for a drop in the drug developer. THRX fell 2.07 percent to
$19.87.
