Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

General Dynamics (GD): An even 20,000 January 2014 calls were purchased for $1.80 and $1.85. Volume was more than 50 times open interest at the strike, indicating that new money was put to work. GD fell 0.24 percent to $70.85.

Huntsman (HUN): Some 19,000 May 12 puts were bought for $0.15 and $0.20 as an investor braces for a pullback in the high-flying chemicals stock. HUN fell 0.57 percent to $17.59.

Focus Media (FMCN): Some 16,000 July 25 calls traded for $1.90, matched against an equal number of July 27 calls for $0.30 and $0.35. Volume was more than twice open interest at both strikes. FMCN fell 0.04 percent to $25.55.

Morgan Stanley (MS): Traders purchased more than 11,000 February 20 puts, mostly for $0.13 and $0.14, against previous open interest. The trades came after earnings, which suggests that existing short positions were closed profitably. MS rose 8.14 percent to $22.44.
