Largest option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Accenture (ACN): Some 4,500 January 82.50 calls were bought for $0.45 and a similar number of January 2015 85 calls were sold for $2.75. Volume was below open interest in the 82.50s, indicating that the investor owns shares and is rolling a covered-call position out in time and up in price. ACN rose 0.51 percent to $73.25.

Encana (ECA): More than 3,100 November 17 calls were purchased, mostly for $1.20, as investors look for upside in the Canadian energy producer. ECA is unchanged at $17.88

Kodiak Oil & Gas (KOG): An investor bought more than 6,000 November 14 calls, most of which priced for $0.68, and sold a similar number of November 13 call, mostly for $1.13. Volume was below open interest at the lower strike, indicating that long position was closed and rolled to the higher strike. KOG rose 1.97 percent to $13.77.
