Largest option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Magnum Hunter Resources (MHR): A block of 1,000 February 9 calls was sold for $0.20 and 1,000 March 10s were bought for $0.10 as a bullish position was rolled up in price and out in time. MHR rose 3.78 percent to $9.02.

Teradyne (TER): An investor bought 2,500 July 19 calls for $1.95 and sold an equal number of July 20s for $1.375 in a bullish vertical spread. The trade cost $0.575 and will expand to $1 if the maker of semiconductor gear is over $20 on expiration. TER fell 0.15 percent to $19.84.

General Growth Properties (GGP): A block of 10,921 February 21 calls were sold for $1.25 and an equal number of March 22 calls were bought for $0.69 as an investor rolled a long position forward in time and up in price. GGP rose 1.32 percent to $22.21. ( See story )
