Largest option trades in equities


Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Mechel (MTL): Investors sold the October 2 calls for $0.30 and the June 2 calls for $0.15, wagering that is there little upside in the Russian steelmaker. MTL rose 1.59 percent to $1.86.

Twenty-First Century Fox (FOXA): A block of 5,300 January 2016 calls were bought for $2.15 as investors position for a long-term rally in the entertainment company. FOXA fell 0.64 percent to $32.59.

SPDR Industrial Sector Fund (XLI): Some 25,000 June 46 puts were bought for $0.14 and $0.15 as investors brace for downside in the industrial sector. XLI rose 0.49 percent to $53.19.
