Largest option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

General Electric (GE): Almost 16,000 September 25 calls were bought, mostly for $0.18, as investors look for upside in the industrial giant. GE fell 0.08 percent to $24.23.

Bank of America (BAC): Some 10,000 August 14.50 calls traded, with the largest blocks fetching $0.09 to $0.11, as investors look for upside in the share price. BAC fell 0.21 percent to $14.41.

Caterpillar (CAT): A block 3,200 September 82.50 puts were bought for $1.13 and an equal number of September 90 calls was sold for $0.54. The trade is bearish on the surface, although volume was below open interest at both strikes. CAT rose 1.34 percent to $85.64.
