Dr. Rhode's presentation, titled "Modern Dentistry and Women's Health," is scheduled for February 27, 2013 and sponsored by Heart to Hearts, Inc. A nonprofit women's wellness organization, Heart to Hearts, Inc. regularly runs medical seminars to educate women and their families about important issues that affect their health and happiness. The organization's goal is to empower women "to make positive changes in their lives that will result in healthy lifestyles for them and their families."
According to Dr. Rhode, her presentation will focus on the relationship between oral health and a woman's overall well-being. The president and founder of Heart to Hearts, Inc., Terry Tucker, invited Dr. Rhode to speak to an audience of women on a variety of topics as they pertain to dentistry:
