RALEIGH, N.C., Jan. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Lend Lease is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Chapman as Director of Operations for the Life Sciences group in the Atlantic Region. Tom rejoined Lend Lease on January 4, 2012, and will be based out of the Raleigh, NC office, working closely with the regional office heads and business development teams in the South Atlantic offices. He will report directly to Steve Eberling, Senior Vice President, Principal In Charge, Life Sciences and Princeton.
Tom has been in the Design and Construction industry for over 33 years and has focused his career specifically on the Life Science sector for the last 22 years. During this time, Tom has worked for Day & Zimmerman / Life Sciences for 8 Years, Turner Construction for 6 Years and most recently Jacobs for the past 9 years. Prior to working at Jacobs, Tom worked for the legacy Bovis Lend Lease business within the Global Life Sciences Group in the Princeton, NJ office.
Tom has completed mechanical design and engineering, and engineering courses from Villanova and Temple Universities and received a master certificate PMP project management from Villanova University. His numerous professional affiliations include International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Delaware Valley Chapter, Design Build Institute of America, Project Management Institute and the Drexel University Construction Management Advisory Committee.
