TORONTO, Sept. 20, 2013 /CNW/ - Leon's Furniture Limited announces the resignation of Vi Konkle as President of The Brick Ltd., effective September 27, 2013. Ms. Konkle has served as President of the Brick since 2012. Leon's wishes to thank Vi for her contribution to The Brick and Leon's during her tenure. We wish her well in her future endeavours.
Leon's is also pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Caldwell as President of The Brick Ltd. Jim brings a wealth of experience in the retail industry including his recent position as Senior Vice President of Operations for The Brick. Previously Jim served in several senior positions with Walmart Canada. We have worked closely with Jim since Leon's acquisition of the Brick at the end of March and we look forward to the skill and professionalism his stewardship will bring to The Brick.
