Lexmark (LXK), a printer maker, said Q4 profit fell 31% to 86 cents a share vs. $1.25 last year, missing forecasts by 4 cents. Sales slid 9% to $968 mil on strong competition from Hewlett-Packard (HPQ). Analysts expected $934 mil. Lexmark sees Q1 EPS of 80-90 cents, below consensus of $1.01. Shares fell 15.1% to 23.74. HP lost 3.2%.
