Revenue grew 8.2% to $1 bil, narrowly beating views, despite a decrease in hospital admissions. Meanwhile, Universal Health Services (UHS) reported late Thu. that it earned $1.36 a share in Q1, 13 cents over views and 11.5% above a year earlier, amid growth in acute-care hospitals. Revenue was up 4.6% to $1.9 bil, just missing estimates.
