SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) -- Lions Gate Chief Financial Officer James Keegan will retire from his post on Oct. 1 and be succeeded by former Viacom CFO James Barge.
Keegan will remain with Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. as a consultant until Jan. 3, to help with the transition process. He has worked at the company for 25 years.
Barge served as Viacom Inc.'s CFO and executive vice president from 2010 to 2012. He was executive vice president, controller, tax and treasury from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, he spent 13 years with Time Warner in such roles as senior vice president, controller and chief accounting officer.
Barge will report to Lions Gate CEO Jon Feltheimer.
