TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 14, 2012) - Lithium Americas Corp. (LAC.TO)(LHMAF) ("Lithium Americas" or the "Company"), is extremely pleased to announce that it will release the results of the definitive Feasibility Study ("DFS") prepared by ARA WorleyParsons for its Cauchari-Olaroz lithium/potash project on Monday June 18, 2012 and has scheduled a conference call to discuss the DFS at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) that day.

The Cauchari-Olaroz project is one of the largest and most advanced lithium brine projects in the world. The Company has methodically driven the project from discovery to DFS in less than three years, achieving every milestone set forth on time and on budget. Lithium Americas has assembled an experienced on the ground team of engineers, constructed the largest pilot scale testing and production facility in the region, and has adhered to and satisfied all the required permitting and environmental requirements to date, supporting the continued development of the Cauchari-Olaroz project.
