Lululemon CEO Christine Day Reveals Her Secret For Balancing Work And Family

Lululemon CEO Christine Day helped to build her company into an international brand.

In a recent video with Yahoo! Finance, Day talked about how she balances work and family. Day is married with three kids.

"Do things when it works," she said. "When I'm doing things it's by choice, so I really don't feel like there's anything to balance."

"I have to make sure that I say 'no' enough to be present and the leader that I want to be," Day said in the video.

In other words, when Day attends a meeting or goes to an event, it's because she wants to be there. Standing up for herself was key to her success.

Day has had years to cultivate a work/life balance.

Before she took over Lululemon in 2010, she worked at Starbucks for 20 years.

She also finds time to exercise.

In the past, she's talked about her impressive workout regimen on the road.
