Major Transaction in Frankfurt's Banking District: The Deutsche Bundesbank Leases 15,000 Square Meter in the TRIANON Building

Joint venture partners Morgan Stanley Eurozone Office Fund (MSEOF) and Madison International Realty (Madison) are pleased to announce the signing of a major lease agreement at the TRIANON located on Mainzer Landstraße in Frankfurt's Banking District. The German Central Bank (Deutsche Bundesbank) has agreed to take 15,000 square meters (ca. 161,000 sq ft) in the 186-meter tall office tower. The Bank will move in stages to eventually occupy eleven floors, which will make the building fully occupied. With its unique triangular floor plan and inverted roof pyramid, the TRIANON is one of Frankfurt's most iconic buildings.

The tenant will move in three stages throughout 2015 and 2016. The deal is one of the largest lease agreements in Frankfurt this year. The property, an integral part of Frankfurt's skyline, has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment, focusing on a complete re-design of the lobby and entrance. In addition to the physical works, concierge services for tenants are now offered. In 2012, the tower was awarded LEED Gold Certification for "Existing Buildings", becoming one of Germany's highest rated properties.
