Jan 6 (Reuters) - U.S. stock index futures edged up on Monday ahead of data on both the services sector and factory goods that could give clues on the momentum of U.S. economic growth early in the new year. Dow Jones industrial average futures were up 0.20 percent at 16,440, S&P 500 futures were up 0.20 percent at 1,829.1 and Nasdaq 100 futures were up 0.11 percent at 3,535.5.

Algeria's national carrier Air Algerie signed deals on Monday to buy three 250-seat Airbus passenger jets and eight 150-seat jets from Boeing, company officials said.
