Mass. gas prices drop another 7 cents

Massachusetts gas prices drop 7 cents per gallon, remain above the national average

BOSTON (AP) -- Gas prices in Massachusetts have dropped by seven cents this week, but remain above the national average.

AAA Southern New England reports Monday that the average price of a gallon of self-serve, regular in Massachusetts has dropped to $3.47.

Prices in Massachusetts are 14 cents lower per gallon than a month ago, but they are still 13 cents above the national average and 20 cents higher than at the same time last year.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling as low as $3.33 per gallon and as high as $3.75 per gallon.
