OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct 1, 2012) - In an effort to avoid early stock depletion in our communities'' food banks, Giant Tiger stores are running a fundraising campaign from October 1 to 14, 2012. 

It is a problem that occurs every year in food banks as colder weather approaches and demand increases. We must help food banks keep their shelves filled in order to support the demand in our communities. We encourage other companies to the same and start helping food banks now.
