Medivation and Astellas Pharma's NDA for enzalutamide accepted by FDA

Medivation and Astellas Pharma announced that the U.S. FDA has accepted for filing the New Drug Application, or NDA, for enzalutamide - formerly MDV3100 - for the potential treatment of men with castration-resistant prostate cancer previously treated with docetaxel-based chemotherapy and granted Priority Review Designation. The FDA's acceptance of the NDA triggers a $10M milestone payment to Medivation under its Collaboration Agreement with Astellas.
