MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Medical device maker Medtronic Inc. said Friday it elected Preetha Reddy to its board of directors.

Reddy is the managing director of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd., a division of one of the largest hospital groups in Asia.
