Metalogix Introduces Powerful New Email Migration Solution for Legacy Email Archives and Live Mail

Metalogix Email Migrator Simplifies Biggest Market Challenge in Enterprise Email Migration On-Premise or in the Cloud by Consolidating Legacy Email Archives and Eradicating Multi-Platform Maintenance Costs

Marketwired

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - Jun 4, 2013) - Metalogix, the leading provider of content infrastructure software to improve the use and performance of enterprise content on Microsoft SharePoint, Exchange and Cloud platforms, today announced the early customer pilot version of a dynamic and easy email migration product, Metalogix Email Migrator. The new product will migrate live and archived email from existing platforms to give customers a simple, fast and reliable method to consolidate disparate Email Archive solutions into a state of the art Email Archive management solution, enhance their archive access and give them more choices to reduce storage costs on-premise or in the Cloud.

The first version, Metalogix Email Migrator for Enterprise Vault, has been developed leveraging the award-winning Metalogix migration framework and its proven email and file archive technology, which has been used to move 50,000 terabytes and archive 55 billion items in its history. The product will help organizations escape the expensive and cumbersome legacy email archive platforms that litter the enterprise. It will also reduce overall management costs as well as mitigate legacy support and exorbitant maintenance contracts associated with them while consolidating their mission-critical archives on more robust, purpose-built Cloud or Hybrid Cloud platforms.

"Many organizations want a better way to modernize, consolidate and reduce the cost of their email archive platforms and provide them higher performance, mobile access, and cloud capabilities and features. But due to re-organizations, mergers, and technology company consolidations, they are currently stuck and locked into various legacy email archivers, with many using 3 or more solutions simultaneously," said Steven Murphy, CEO, Metalogix. "These disparate Archives pose operational and governance conflicts and prevent innovation as the customer is locked into older architectures and unable to use new, advanced features in Outlook and Exchange such as Cloud or mobile device access. We developed Metalogix Email Migrator to give all organizations, even those with the most complex environments, the ability to improve the use and performance of their archived and live email platforms."

On Thursday, June 6, Metalogix will introduce Metalogix Email Migrator during a live webinar from TechEd in New Orleans. During the webinar, Metalogix will also introduce the latest version of its email archiving solution, Metalogix Archive Manager Exchange and Files Edition. The latest version has improved support for Microsoft Server 2012 by integrating Metalogix single instance storage technology with the built-in deduplication.

Office 365 archiving has been added to Metalogix Archive Manager for organizations that need to archive on-premises or in another cloud environment for backup or email compliance reasons. The sophisticated eDiscovery engine provides a professional and affordable solution for processing and reviewing documents in response to an e-discovery order while the storage management provides additional backup, disaster recovery and secure media containment.

"We have received many requests from customers to provide a 'best of both worlds' solution for organizations that still require a trusted third-party Email, Files and SharePoint archiving solutions," said Matthew Bründl-Pandzich, Director, Metalogix Archive Business Unit. "As email compliance and data resilience continues to grow in importance, eDiscovery and disaster recovery requirements have grown more complex with the adoption of Cloud-based platforms and mobile client devices. The development of the new version of Metalogix Archive Manager meets these demands and we are very excited about the evolution of the product."

Metalogix Archive Manager is recognized as one of the most powerful and cost effective files and email archiving solutions for the enterprise. Through its native user interface and sophisticated hierarchical storage management unit, organizations can meet their legal compliance and performance requirements. Archive Manager is transparent to end-users, minimizes Exchange mailbox and unstructured content storage requirements, improves search and recovery at the e-mail and mailbox level and establishes an efficient and standardized eDiscovery workflow.
