Mexican stocks fall sharply after trading halt


MEXICO CITY, Nov 19 (Reuters) - Mexican stocks fell sharplyon Tuesday after trading resumed following a halt due totechnical difficulties.

The IPC stock index shed 1.12 percent to 40,572points, pulling back after a surge of about 3.6 percent in theprevious three sessions to a nearly two-week high. Mexicanmarkets were closed Monday due to a national holiday.
