Microsoft CEO says should have pushed into tablets sooner, WSJ reports

Microsoft (MSFT) CEO Steve Ballmer told the company's shareholders at its annual meeting that a push into tablets should have "maybe been done" earlier, reports the Wall Street Journal. Ballmer told shareholders that if the company had moved quicker into hardware, it might not be so far behind the iPad (AAPL) and Android (GOOG)-based tablets.
