eBay rose $.74 or 1.9 percent, to $40.41.

Google fell $13.06 or 2.2 percent, to $590.60.

Groupon Inc. rose $.11 or .9 percent, to $12.00.

LinkedIn Corp. rose $.21 or .2 percent, to $99.01.

Yahoo rose $.04 or .3 percent, to $15.39.

Zynga Inc. fell $.17 or 2.5 percent, to $6.63.
