Hospira rose $.41 or 1.0 percent, to $39.63.
Johnson & Johnson rose $.56 or .6 percent, to $87.25.
Eli Lilly & Co. rose $.20 or .4 percent, to $50.53.
Merck rose $1.20 or 2.5 percent, to $48.81.
Pfizer rose $.13 or .4 percent, to $28.85.
