Best Buy rose $.23 or .9 percent, to $25.88.
Home Depot Inc. fell $.79 or 1.0 percent, to $78.90.
Lowe's Cos. fell $.36 or .8 percent, to $42.62.
OfficeMax rose $.09 or .7 percent, to $12.45.
RadioShack fell $.12 or 3.0 percent, to $3.89.
Staples fell $.16 or 1.1 percent, to $15.01.
TJX Companies rose $.04 or .1 percent, to $50.27.
