Kroger fell $.04 or .1 percent, to $34.15.
Safeway fell $.17 or .7 percent, to $23.22.
Supervalu fell $.05 or .8 percent, to $6.43.
Whole Foods Market Inc. rose $.01 or percent, to $104.59.
