Shares of the typeface provider jumped to a record high after it reported a 22% rise in EPS to 28 cents, beating estimates by a penny. Monotype's (TYPE) sales rose 23% to $39 mil as its typeface and font business continues to shift from printers to consumer electronics and most recently online through its Web font initiative. Analysts expected $38.5 mil. For the current quarter, it see EPS of 30 cents, up 30%, ahead of analyst consensus of 27 cents. Shares rose 7.6% to 20.64 .
