Robert H: The people I watched the debate with were arguing about who "won" the debate. My question is, what do you mean by "won"? What is the criteria, the measuring stick? If the measuring stick is who gained more votes after the debate than they had before it, my guess would be Trump. I'm one of the people who wasn't planning on voting for Trump because he has been such a buffoon and shows a lack of the character that I want the leader of our country to have. But now, despite his lack of character, I'm starting to think that he really does believe in some basic conservative principles that are also very important to me. In other words, I now may vote for him. I doubt that there were many people who were leaning away from Clinton who are now leaning her way as a result of the debate.
