Call buyers are targeting Mylan this morning as the pharmaceutical company trades at record high levels.
optionMONSTER's Heat Seeker system detected the purchase of 2,047 July 34 calls this morning, led by a block of 2,000 that went for $0.30. These are clearly new positions, as the strike's open interest was just 98 contracts before the session began.
MYL is up 1.01 percent $31.01, a day after reaching an all-time high of $31.47. The stock has been rising since the company reported first-quarter results at the beginning of this month and got a boost this week with the release of new generic drugs.
Only 4 puts have changed hands this morning, a reflection of the session's early bullish bias. The company is scheduled to present at the UBS 2013 Global Healthcare Conference on Wednesday.
