NEW YORK (AP) -- Stock exchange operator Nasdaq OMX Group Inc. named Borje Ekholm its permanent chairman. He has been interim chairman since May.
Ekholm, 49, has been CEO of Nordic industrial holding company Investor AB since 2005. Investor AB owns about 11 percent of Nasdaq OMX.
H. Furlong Baldwin retired as chairman of Nasdaq OMX on May 25.
