National Institute on Retirement Security to Release New Pension Economic Impact Study, Host Webinar to Review Findings

The National Institute on Retirement Security will host a webinar to review the findings of a forthcoming new study, Pensionomics 2014: Measuring the Economic Impact of Defined Benefit Pension Expenditures.

The webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 11 AM ET. Register here or at https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/492342138. The full study will be available for download here on July 30th at 7 AM ET.

This biennial study calculates the national economic impacts of public and private pension plans, as well as the impact of state and local plans on a state-by-state basis. The study measures the economic ripple effect of retiree spending of pension benefit income, which typically is a stable source of income that lasts through retirement.
