Nation's First Medical Marijuana Medical Plan Portal Goes Live

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwired - Mar 30, 2015) - Novus Acquisition & Development Corp. (OTC PINK: NDEV), a provider of cost-saving medical plans for medical marijuana patients through its wholly owned subsidiary Novus Medical Group, today announced the official launch of the Novus MedPlan interactive web portal at www.novusmedicalgroup.com. The portal helps registered medical marijuana and alternative medicine patients with participating dispensaries and providers through a seamless, real-time, and easy-to-use interface.

"We are extremely excited to launch the Novus MedPlan interactive web portal after several months of development," said Novus Acquisition & Development Corp. CEO Frank Labrozzi. "Our innovative healthcare wellness savings plan complements existing medical policies and fills in gaps where traditional healthcare policies do not provide benefits or cost savings on wellness and non-traditional medicines."

By joining Novus MedPlan, members will have access to provider networks offering significant cost savings of 20% or more on over 1,000 products and services, including holistic medicine and medical marijuana in states where it is legal. To enroll or take a tour, medical marijuana patients can visit www.novusmedicalgroup.com and browse plans starting at only $19.95 per month.

Built on top of the Proteus420 dispensary management platform, the MedPlan interactive web portal provides a tightly coupled environment for both patients and dispensaries to interact within a proven and well-established e-commerce, secure patient enrollment, and customer relationship management system configured and designed to work specifically with Novus MedPlan.

The MedPlan interactive web portal features:

a) The ability for patients to peruse the site to see the location, inventory and pricing of medical marijuana products and services before joining.
b) A quick and easy two-minute sign-up process for authorized individuals (e.g. those holding valid MMJ permits) joining the program in approved states.
c) The ability to select medications and have a push notification of their med request sent to the providing dispensary for convenient pick up or delivery.
d) The ability for participating dispensaries to quickly and easily monitor inventory with a click of a button, change pricing, adjust inventory levels, and load more inventory within minutes.

Proteus420 is the only real-time, fully featured business solution that has been created specifically for the medical marijuana industry. The platform features HIPPA-compliant data security, employee controlled access, real-time visibility across organizations, easy integration with other software platforms, and a number of other features.

The launch of the Novus MedPlan interactive web portal comes shortly after the Company signed an agency sales agreement with Senior Healthcare Benefits Group ("Senior") (http://www.seniorhealthcarenow.com). Senior will market "Novus's MedPlan" benefits packages to registered medical marijuana (MMJ) patients (initially in Arizona) and then Colorado, and Michigan. Novus/Senior has filed reciprocity in the state of California where the largest medical marijuana patient population resides.

About Novus

Novus Acquisition & Development Corp. ("Novus") provides health insurance and related insurance solutions to the wellness and medical marijuana industries in states where legal programs exist. The Company also plans to offer physicians' education programs, pharmaceutical R&D, compliance, and business development services within the industry.

Push Notification means that the patient request meds via the Novus MedPlan Portal and the transaction is between the patient and the dispensary within the licensed facility. NDEV will work as outside developers and will not cultivate, handle, transport grow, extract, dispense put up for sale, put on the market, vend, deliver, supply, circulate, trade, cannabis or any substances that violates the United States law or the Controlled Substances Act, nor does it intend to do so in the future and will continue to follow state and federal laws. The products and statements made about specific products have not been evaluated by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. All information provided on these press releases or any information contained on or in any product label or packaging is for informational purposes only and is not intended as a substitute for advice from your physician or other health care professional. Once a push notification is competed the transaction is solely between the state licensed dispensary and the registered patient. Legal Opinion for Arizona and Colorado supplied by Vicente Sederberg LLC.

The state laws are in conflict with the federal Controlled Substances Act. The current administration has effectively stated that it is not an efficient use of resources to direct federal law enforcement agencies to prosecute those lawfully abiding by state designated laws allowing the use and distribution of medical marijuana. However, there is no guarantee that the current administration, nor any future administration, will not change this policy and decide to enforce the federal laws strongly. Any such change in the federal government's enforcement of current federal laws could cause significant financial changes to the Company. While we do not intend to harvest, distribute or sell cannabis or cannabis related products, we may be harmed by a change in enforcement by federal or state governments.
