DULUTH, Ga. (AP) -- NCR Corp., which makes ATMs and self-service checkout machines, has made a trio of acquisitions to get a foothold in the fast-growing Brazilian market.
NCR bought POS Integrated Solutions, a reseller of its Aloha point of sale software for restaurants, along with hospitality software provider Wyse Sistemas de Informática Ltda, and Radiant Distribution Solutions, a distributor of NCR hospitality hardware.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
NCR was drawn to Brazil by its expanding middle class, which has resulted in a booming business for restaurants. The company lands in Brazil ahead of the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics.
NCR shares fell 6 cents to $21.52 in afternoon trading.
